REMARKS:

No change, up, or down following each performance indicator above are with reference to previous assessment period, i.e., first two weeks of Spring 2013.

Although compared to the first two weeks there were fewer students who got failing (F) grades at the end of this assessment period (5 students as opposed to 7 before), this is still a disturbing result and needs closer attention as well as timely intervention.

Of these five students, two were observed to be having difficulty in Accounting 1 and will be referred to the A+ Center for tutorial assistance.

One appeared to be doing okay, except that two missed classes, homeworks and quizzes pulled the student's grades down. Student still has chance to get maximum grade of 70% (C) at the end of the term.

Another student had three absences, and missed homeworks, class works, and quizzes. Like the other one, this student still has chance to pass the course, provided said student stops missing classes and turns in all requirements in the future.

Finally, one student who has lots of potential but was (unfortunately) having difficulty coming to class on time, already stopped coming to class since February 4, 2013 and expressed intention to withdraw from the course.
